Storekeeper – Inventory Management

About the role

GULBAHAR is looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory and daily store activities at its Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) location. The role involves handling spare parts, tools, and equipment while ensuring accurate record‑keeping and optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and issue spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and a store aging system for expiry monitoring.
• Control stock levels, forecast needs, and place orders to avoid shortages.
• Tag warranty parts, sell parts to customers, and arrange parts for technicians.
• Conduct regular inventories and monitor accuracy of inventory control systems.
• Report damages, discrepancies, and low‑stock alerts for accounting and reimbursement.
• Collaborate closely with the technical team to meet material requirements.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards, hygiene, and proper spare‑part arrangement.
• Assist the store in‑charge with all store‑related activities and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory‑management role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance spare parts and tools.
• Experience in general maintenance, spare‑part arrangement, and inventory control.
• Diploma in Electrical or Maintenance Engineering, or a high‑school diploma/equivalent in a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
