Storekeeper – Materials Management

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of equipment, spare parts and consumables in the Beda Zayed store. The role ensures that all materials are received, stored, issued and dispatched safely and in line with purchase orders and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, physically verify and record incoming materials against purchase orders and HSE standards.
• Issue materials to users, process returns and transfers, and maintain accurate ERP records.
• Monitor shelf life, label items, and conduct regular housekeeping of store facilities and yards.
• Operate a forklift for loading and unloading as required.
• Perform periodic stock counts, identify fast‑moving or obsolete items, and prepare inventory reports.
• Report discrepancies, damaged goods and unavailable stock across all warehouse locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse or storekeeping operations.
• Familiarity with HSE policies and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Capability to operate a forklift safely.
• Attention to detail for accurate data entry and inventory control.

Required skills

• ERP system usage for material transactions.
• Forklift operation.
