Storekeeper – One&Only One Za'abeel

About the role

The Storekeeper for Housekeeping at One&Only One Za'abeel is responsible for managing inventory, replenishing guest‑room and bar supplies, and ensuring all stock levels meet the hotel’s standards. This role supports the smooth operation of housekeeping and laundry departments in a five‑star resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and replenish guest‑room and private‑bar items to maintain par stock, using the hotel’s requisition system.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly store requisitions for approval by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Track and file invoices and purchase orders, maintaining organized records for audit purposes.
• Monitor PAR levels for housekeeping and laundry items, generating daily and monthly consumption reports.
• Receive, verify, and store deliveries, rejecting damaged or incorrect items and ensuring quantities match purchase orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of storage areas, conduct regular inventory of cleaning equipment, and coordinate repairs with engineering and contractors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of similar experience in a five‑star hotel in the Middle East.
• Good understanding of housekeeping and purchasing operations.
• Competent English communication skills and basic computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with housekeeping, laundry, and engineering teams.
• Attention to detail and adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
