Strategic Sourcing Manager – GCC & South Africa

About the role

We are hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategy and vendor negotiations across the GCC and South Africa for a leading hospitality organization. This individual‑contributor role reports to a Director of Strategic Sourcing and works alongside a peer team of regional sourcing managers. The position requires hands‑on, in‑market experience and genuine negotiation depth across direct and indirect categories.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute market‑focused sourcing strategies across the GCC and South Africa for goods, services, and CAPEX/OPEX categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, RFPs/RFQs, and contract finalization across multiple countries.
• Manage vendor selection, contracting, and performance in line with corporate procurement policy.
• Partner cross‑functionally with operations, finance, and legal stakeholders.
• Support pre‑opening and project mobilization activities where relevant.
• Define and track vendor KPIs, driving continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
• Work confidently with incomplete or messy data to build sourcing recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience with multi‑country hands‑on exposure across the GCC and/or South Africa.
• Proven track record of real negotiation and contracting, not limited to policy or compliance roles.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor within a peer group of sourcing managers.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities, comfortable handling large, incomplete or unstructured data sets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Preferred experience in franchise, licensee or multi‑brand operating environments such as QSR or hospitality networks.
• Arabic and/or French language skills are a plus.
