Strategy Finance Business Partner

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Strategy Finance Business Partner to provide strategic, analytical, and tactical financial support for the E33 Project and EMEA strategic planning. The role works closely with the Project VP/GM and regional leaders to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial aspects of the E33 Project, delivering analysis, reporting, and audit coordination.
• Drive improvements in financial processes and systems to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
• Partner with strategy owners to translate priorities into financial plans, investment decisions, and value‑creation targets.
• Lead regional strategic planning, integrating long‑range targets with profit plans, forecasts, and performance governance.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for growth, capital investments, and portfolio decisions.
• Track strategic initiatives, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive finance and strategy experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced SAP proficiency (mandatory).
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Practical knowledge of Power BI or comparable BI tools.
• Financial modelling, scenario and sensitivity analysis, valuation, and investment appraisal.
• Understanding of profit‑and‑loss, balance‑sheet, cash‑flow and working‑capital drivers.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle Planning.
