Strategy Manager – Commercial Due Diligence

About the role

The Strategy Manager – Commercial Due Diligence will lead the evaluation of potential investment opportunities for private equity and corporate clients, delivering market, competitor and financial insights to support investment decisions and shape overall business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive commercial due diligence, including market, competitor, customer and financial analysis.
• Analyse industry trends, market dynamics and competitive forces to assess attractiveness and risks of target markets.
• Evaluate target companies' business models, revenue streams, customer base and growth strategies.
• Assess financial performance, key ratios and valuation metrics to determine financial health.
• Develop financial models, forecasts and valuation analyses to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, legal and executive teams to gather data and insights.
• Prepare detailed due‑diligence reports, presentations and documentation for senior management and investment committees.
• Provide strategic recommendations and stay updated on best practices in commercial due diligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial due diligence, investment banking or private equity.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
