Structural Design Engineer – Civil (Dubai)

About the role

A reputable engineering consultancy in Dubai is looking for a Structural Design Engineer – Civil to join its multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on structural analysis and design for G+4 / G+5 residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with international codes and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel elements, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and shear walls.
• Prepare and review detailed design calculations, structural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to integrate structural systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during construction, responding to site queries and resolving design issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE consultancy experience, specifically on G+4 / G+5 residential and commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of ACI, BS, Eurocodes and UAE authority requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD (or similar structural analysis software).
• Skilled in AutoCAD for drafting.
• Competent use of MS Office for documentation and reporting.
