Structural Design Engineer

About the role

LITCO UAE is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join its engineering team in Sharjah. The role focuses on structural analysis, design, and detailed engineering for steel and metalwork projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documents for steel structures and metalwork.
• Perform structural analysis using applicable codes and project specifications.
• Create general arrangement, fabrication/shop drawings, connection details, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, project engineers, production, and fabrication teams.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and ensure designs are practical for fabrication, erection, and site installation.
• Support material take‑offs, quantity calculations, and technical submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant structural engineering/design experience.
• UAE experience preferred, especially in steel fabrication, PEB, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel design, connections, fabrication, and erection processes.
