Structural Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Inspector to join our engineering team in Dubai. The role involves on‑site monitoring and supervision of structural works for infrastructure and building projects, ensuring compliance with RTA, Dubai Municipality standards and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise all structural construction activities, including foundations, pile caps, rafts, footings, ground beams, retaining walls, columns, walls, slabs, beams, staircases and other reinforced‑concrete elements.
• Verify reinforcement details such as bar size, spacing, laps, cover and fixing.
• Check formwork for alignment, level, dimensions, stability and cleanliness before concrete casting.
• Monitor concrete placement, vibration, finishing, curing and protection.
• Oversee installation of precast elements, structural steel erection, bolt tightening and welding inspections.
• Inspect grouting, base plates, supports and temporary bracing arrangements.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, architectural and MEP works and ensure all activities follow approved drawings, project specifications and applicable codes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑site structural inspection for large‑scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of RTA and Dubai Municipality standards, as well as relevant international codes.
• Ability to identify non‑conformances, document findings and support resolution of site issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
