Structural Steel Supervisor – Onsite in Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Structural Steel Supervisor will lead on‑site structural steel construction activities for oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. Working full‑time on‑site, the role ensures that all works comply with project specifications, safety regulations and industry standards while coordinating closely with engineering, contractors and site personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the erection, alignment and bolting of structural steel components.
• Verify that all works follow approved drawings, specifications and relevant codes.
• Coordinate daily activities with engineering teams, subcontractors and site staff to maintain schedule and quality.
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures, conduct inspections and report non‑conformances.
• Manage material handling, storage and logistics for steel elements.
• Prepare progress reports and support commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising structural steel works on large oil & gas or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, fluent in English.
