Student Discipline Supervisor

About the role

The Student Discipline Supervisor ensures a safe and orderly learning environment by overseeing student attendance, punctuality, and behaviour. The role also provides support to students and families, coordinates interventions, and collaborates with teachers and school leadership on disciplinary matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term intervention plans for referred students, including functional behavioural analyses and counselling.
• Record and manage student lateness, absences, and infractions; communicate with parents and the School Management Committee (SMC) as needed.
• Monitor classroom discipline, remove disruptive students, and enforce detention schedules.
• Oversee end‑of‑day student release, bus line‑up, and transportation safety.
• Report teacher misconduct or absenteeism to the School Director and ensure lesson coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field.
• Experience in student management or similar supervisory role.
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
• Professional, ethical conduct with a serious demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and handle confidential information.
