Student Success & Determination Officer

About the role

The Student Success & Determination Officer provides comprehensive support to students, focusing on academic achievement, inclusive accommodation, and overall wellbeing. The role works closely with students who have documented learning disabilities or other conditions that require reasonable adjustments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee student accommodation management, ensuring compliance with university and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate reasonable learning support, including exam proctoring, assistive technologies, and physical resources.
• Collaborate with academic advisors and faculty to develop individualized success plans.
• Maintain accurate records of accommodations and monitor their effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and counseling to students on academic success strategies and support services.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in student support, disability services, or related higher‑education roles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE higher‑education standards and accommodation policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student empowerment.
