Subject Matter Expert – Process Engineering

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Process Engineering to lead the deployment, monitoring, and sustainment of its Predictive Analytics and Process Optimisation solutions across customer operations in the Middle East. The role bridges deep process engineering knowledge with AI‑driven optimisation to deliver measurable improvements in throughput, energy efficiency, and operational stability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for the implementation and operationalisation of predictive models and optimisation tools.
• Validate model outputs, translate AI insights into actionable recommendations, and ensure continuous value delivery.
• Collaborate with customer operations, process engineering, production, control‑room, reliability, and digital teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Monitor solution performance in real time, provide advisory support, and drive long‑term sustainment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in process engineering and steady‑state performance optimisation.
• Proven expertise in predictive analytics advisory and asset performance management.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams in oil & gas, energy, or industrial settings.
• Strong technical communication skills to convey complex model results to customers.
