About the role
As the Manager of Supplier Industrialization Engineering, you will build and lead Amperesand’s global function that brings new suppliers from development into volume production, ensuring alignment with ambitious NPI timelines and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a globally distributed team of Supplier Industrialization Engineers, setting priorities, coaching and defining growth paths.
- Own the global supplier industrialization roadmap, aligning onboarding and ramp milestones with NPI timelines and production forecasts.
- Define and standardize playbooks, tools and processes across the full supplier lifecycle, from qualification through volume ramp.
- Serve as senior escalation point for complex supplier issues, overseeing supplier quality and driving corrective actions.
- Bridge suppliers with internal Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to ensure design alignment, material readiness and DFM feedback.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred); electrical, mechanical or manufacturing background strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain or program management, with at least 2 years in people management.
- Proven success leading supplier industrialization or development in hardware manufacturing, power electronics or related capital equipment.
- Experience managing globally distributed supplier portfolios across multiple geographies.
- Strong communication skills across technical and business audiences and ability to work across cultures.
