Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

NAFFCO is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support supply‑chain planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination and operational reporting. The analyst will collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, logistics, finance, sales and other internal teams to improve performance, ensure product availability and control costs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse supply‑chain, procurement, inventory and logistics data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, replenishment needs, slow‑moving items and potential stock‑outs.
• Support demand planning, supply planning, forecasting and material requirements planning activities.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards covering inventory, purchasing, supplier performance, order fulfilment, logistics and supply‑chain KPIs.
• Track purchase orders, material availability, delivery schedules and supplier commitments.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to follow up on delayed, incomplete or urgent orders.
• Review purchasing and inventory data to support cost control, efficient stock utilisation and working‑capital management.
• Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, lead times, order accuracy, quality issues and service levels.
• Investigate supply‑chain discrepancies such as inventory variances, delivery delays and data inconsistencies.
• Maintain accurate supply‑chain master data, including item codes, supplier information, lead times and minimum order quantities.
• Assist with warehouse audits, cycle counts, stock reconciliation and corrective‑action tracking.
• Support logistics planning and analyse transportation, freight, delivery and distribution performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce lead times, minimise costs and increase operational efficiency.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analysis and management reports to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant professional experience in supply‑chain analysis, procurement, inventory management, logistics or operations.
