Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Elsewedy Electric, a manufacturer of electrical products and solutions operating in 19 countries, is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist. The role coordinates and optimizes procurement, inventory, logistics and supplier performance so that materials and services are delivered on time and cost-effectively, while supporting business operations and complying with company policies and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with relevant departments to keep stock at optimal levels.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate delivery schedules and resolve supply issues.
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders according to company procedures.
• Track shipments and coordinate with logistics providers for on-time delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and support supplier evaluations.
• Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports on inventory, purchasing and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with warehouse, finance, production and other departments to keep supply chain operations smooth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs and streamline processes.
• Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records in the ERP system and support annual inventory counts and stock reconciliation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics or inventory management.
• Experience in the UAE market is a must.
• Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, CIPS or equivalent are an advantage.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
