Supply Planner

About the role

The Supply Planner will ensure an optimal balance between inventory availability and sourcing to meet customer demand while supporting service level and working capital goals. The role involves forecast validation, inventory monitoring and close coordination with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage finished‑goods inventory for locally and internationally sourced products.
• Continuously update supply plans using demand signals, supplier capacity and in‑transit visibility.
• Execute supply‑planning and MRP activities in line with company policies, considering lead times, MOQs, shelf life, import timelines and logistics constraints.
• Develop and maintain sourcing, replenishment and purchasing plans, ensuring timely purchase‑request releases.
• Control finished‑goods inventory, monitor stock ageing, expiry exposure and batch management.
• Optimize inventory parameters (minimum, maximum, safety stock) to balance service levels and working capital.
• Prepare Slow‑Moving, Excess and Obsolete (SLOB) reports and drive mitigation actions with Procurement, Commercial, Finance and Quality teams.
• Review planning parameters regularly and assess impact on inventory health.
• Monitor sales and supply performance against budget and supplier contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• 2‑3 years of planning experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
