Swimming Instructor – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Academies are seeking an outstanding Swimming Instructor for Al Ain British Academy with an immediate start. This role offers the chance to join a highly successful educational family, working within a supportive school community that values staff, pupils, and parents alike.

Key responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to all school classes, ensuring skill development and water safety.
• Supervise and manage a swimming assistant to support effective lesson delivery.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate swimming programs, including extra‑curricular activities and competitions.
• Maintain constant supervision of children in and around the pool, enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies.
• Coordinate with classroom staff, parents, and external organisations for lesson scheduling, events, and student progress communication.

Required profile

• UAE‑approved Swimming Coach Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR knowledge.
• Qualified lifeguard and competent instructor able to support learners of all abilities.

Required skills

• Swimming coaching techniques and water‑safety instruction.
• Pool operations, risk management and emergency procedures (NOP and EOP).
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess structured swimming lessons and competitions.
• Supervisory and mentoring skills for assistants and students.
