Syndication & Specialized Lending Relationship Manager (UAE)

About the role

The Bank of Jordan is seeking an experienced professional to lead syndicated and specialized lending activities across the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for originating, structuring, and managing complex corporate, acquisition, and project finance transactions while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare credit appraisal reports, internal recommendations and approval memos for syndicated loan transactions.
• Support primary and secondary loan market activities, including distribution strategy, pricing analysis and investor targeting.
• Conduct detailed financial statement analysis, financial modelling, sensitivity testing and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Review transaction structures, security packages, covenant packages and repayment profiles.
• Coordinate internal approvals across Credit, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, ESG, Finance and senior management.
• Monitor execution milestones from origination through financial close and post‑closing follow‑ups.
• Maintain transaction database, documentation warehousing and management records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; professional qualifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in syndicated finance, structured finance, project finance or corporate banking.
• Proven track record in origination, execution and underwriting of syndicated loans.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, covenant analysis and portfolio management.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
