System Engineer – Microsoft Exchange & Linux

About the role

Recruvion seeks a highly skilled System Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange and Linux environments. The role involves hands‑on management of enterprise infrastructure, troubleshooting critical production issues, and leading migration and upgrade projects.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Exchange Online, including DAG, mail flow, connectors and migrations.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and hybrid Microsoft 365 environments.
• Administer Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu) – patching, hardening, performance tuning and user/access management.
• Maintain VMware ESXi/vCenter environments – HA, DRS, VM lifecycle management.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity and health; work with SAN/NAS, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, documentation and provide technical support for critical incidents.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on system engineering experience.
• Strong enterprise‑level Microsoft Exchange administration.
• Solid Linux administration expertise.
• Proven troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills in production environments.
• Experience with VMware, SAN/NAS, backup and DR technologies.
• Ability to work independently on critical incidents and infrastructure projects.
