Systems Analyst

About the role

The Systems Analyst will ensure the hotel’s IT infrastructure runs smoothly, supporting both guest‑facing services and back‑office operations. This role combines technical expertise with a focus on delivering luxury‑standard service to guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware such as servers, PCs, POS devices and PABX systems.
• Manage Office 365 solutions and ensure continuous high‑speed internet, Wi‑Fi and in‑room entertainment delivery.
• Support core hospitality applications including Opera PMS, Micros POS and Sun System accounting.
• Implement and monitor information security protocols, data‑protection policies and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Finance, Housekeeping, F&B and Sales & Marketing to resolve system issues and optimise workflows.
• Provide audio‑visual support for meeting rooms and events, working with the AV Supervisor and Events Team.
• Maintain software licences, update IT asset inventory and produce quarterly status reports.
• Serve as secondary contact for external vendors, service providers and hardware/software suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of IT experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior support role.
• Prior experience in luxury hospitality is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, analog telephony and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to delivering luxury‑standard service.
