Systems Engineer

About the role

The Solutions Consultant role evolves the traditional sales‑engineering function, helping customers understand their security environment and guiding them toward successful adoption of Palo Alto Networks solutions. You will act as a technical advisor throughout the customer’s security transformation journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic technical account plans to meet and exceed sales quotas.
• Conduct discovery sessions to capture customer business, technical, and operational requirements.
• Design high‑level, cross‑platform solutions across the full Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
• Lead technical validation, demos, workshops, and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and specialist teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks platforms and promote end‑to‑end solutions, including partner services.
• Monitor competitive landscape and articulate Palo Alto Networks’ leadership in cybersecurity.

Required profile

• Strong curiosity and ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience working in a cross‑functional, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto Networks security solutions (on‑prem, cloud, and security operations).
• Technical expertise in designing and validating cybersecurity architectures.
