Systems Integration Analyst - IRIS

About the role

techcarrot FZ LLC is looking for a Systems Integration Analyst (IRIS) in Dubai to lead the design, implementation and support of healthcare interoperability solutions. The role architects interfaces between clinical applications, medical equipment, analysers and third-party systems, develops integration strategies aligned with enterprise architecture standards and acts as technical advisor for integration and interoperability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support integrations using HL7, FHIR, REST, SOAP, ASTM, XML and JSON standards, and build interoperability solutions on InterSystems IRIS and HealthShare platforms.
• Ensure high availability, performance and reliability of integration services, and proactively monitor and troubleshoot data exchange workflows.
• Set up alerting, monitoring, failover and service recovery mechanisms, and ensure continuity of critical clinical data flows.
• Lead issue resolution with internal teams and vendors, and engage solution vendors across implementation, upgrade, testing and support.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions, and facilitate evaluations and post-implementation optimisation.
• Produce integration architecture and interface design documentation, ensure compliance with information governance and data security, and support enterprise architecture reviews.
• Drive knowledge transfer, documentation standards and end-user enablement.

Required profile

• Experience leading complex integration initiatives from design through production support, with strong architecture and solution design capability.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, and strategic thinking aligned with organisational objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across executive, clinical, operational and technical audiences.
• Results orientation focused on service excellence, reliability, quality and process optimisation.

Required skills

• Integration technologies: HL7, FHIR, SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, XML, BPL, message routing and transformation services.
• Core platforms: InterSystems IRIS for Health and HealthShare middleware.
• Healthcare ecosystem: clinical workflows, electronic health records (EHR), medical devices, diagnostic modalities and laboratory analysers.
