Systems Specialist – Infrastructure Operations

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a proactive Systems Specialist to join its Technology Operations team. You will be responsible for administering, monitoring and supporting the on‑premises infrastructure that powers world‑class attractions across Abu Dhabi. The role ensures systems are secure, resilient and aligned with enterprise architecture and information‑security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Windows and Linux server environments, including OS upgrades, patching and hardware maintenance.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Maintain VMware private‑cloud infrastructure, virtual machines and related storage and networking components.
• Oversee backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity processes, performing regular testing and validation.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and security events, respond to incidents and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell and other scripting tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified Administrator/Architect, VMware Certified Professional, ITIL.
• Experience managing enterprise‑scale Microsoft and VMware environments.
