T3000 Service Expert System Administrator

About the role

As a T3000 Service Expert System Administrator you will lead the implementation, optimisation and security of Siemens Energy’s control systems for power‑plant projects across the Middle East. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will work on‑site with customers to ensure reliable operation of automation and cybersecurity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues on T3000, PLC and SCADA platforms.
• Perform on‑site installations, maintenance and repairs of control equipment and ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to deliver successful project implementations.
• Deliver training and support to customers on operation and maintenance of Siemens Energy products.
• Identify improvement opportunities from field experience and customer feedback.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity configurations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Automation, I&C, Control Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Siemens Energy T3000, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and travel extensively across the Middle East.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and clients.

Required skills

• T3000 system virtualization and domain server configuration.
• Siemens Energy fail‑safe system knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with Modbus, DNP3 and OPC interfaces.
• Network architecture design and cybersecurity configuration.
• PLC and SCADA programming and troubleshooting.
