About the role

The Tailoring Atelier Manager leads the boutique’s tailoring atelier, ensuring every client receives the perfect fit that embodies CHANEL’s heritage of craftsmanship and personalized service. Reporting to the Ready‑to‑Wear Sales Manager and collaborating with the Paris technical team, the role blends operational leadership with hands‑on tailoring expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all fitting ceremonies and alteration processes, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of skilled tailors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate closely with Boutique Directors, Fashion Advisors, and the CHANEL&moi technical team to align boutique objectives with technical standards.
• Handle client communications with tact, addressing delicate situations and preserving long‑term relationships.
• Organize and execute fittings for VIP clients in‑store, at‑home, in hotels, or during remote Haute Couture sessions.
• Monitor and report on atelier performance, ensuring seamless alignment between boutique operations and Paris‑based technical guidelines.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in luxury tailoring or garment alteration, preferably within a high‑end fashion environment.
• Proven managerial abilities with a track record of leading and inspiring a tailoring team.
• Exceptional client‑service skills, able to communicate diplomatically and maintain brand integrity.
• Flexibility to adapt to various fitting contexts and travel when required.
