Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full‑cycle recruitment for a fast‑paced restaurant operation, covering hourly, supervisory and management positions. Working closely with restaurant leadership, you will ensure a seamless candidate experience while meeting high‑volume staffing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house, management and support roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and operations leaders to define staffing requirements.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals and community events.
• Conduct high‑volume screening, interviews and hiring events.
• Coordinate interview schedules and hiring decisions to align with operational demands.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Support onboarding, including offer letters, HR orientation and new‑hire paperwork.
• Track recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, turnover trends and hiring effectiveness.
• Promote the employer brand at job fairs and community gatherings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience, preferably in restaurant or hospitality settings.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and workforce challenges.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
• Data‑driven mindset with capacity to analyse hiring trends.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms.
• Proficiency with online recruiting tools and social media sourcing.
