Tax Agent – VAT & Corporate Tax Advisory

About the role

Provide VAT and corporate tax compliance for a diverse client base that includes law firms, clinics, real estate, IT, F&B, foreign branches and startups. The role also covers three specialist areas – QFZP advisory, corporate tax/VAT health checks, and high‑net‑worth individual (HNWI) asset‑structuring tax. It is built around a clear pathway to dual FTA Tax Agent certification (VAT and Corporate Tax) and growing credibility with the Federal Tax Authority.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT and corporate tax filings for clients across multiple sectors.
• Support e‑invoicing readiness and advise on tax implications of new company setups.
• Assess QFZP eligibility, document positions and assist during FTA reviews or audits.
• Conduct corporate‑tax and VAT health checks for businesses around AED 50 M in revenue.
• Design tax‑efficient structures for HNWI asset holdings and maintain ongoing compliance.
• Prepare responses to FTA queries, audits, assessments and voluntary disclosures.

Required profile

• 2–6 years UAE experience in a professional‑services or advisory environment with direct tax exposure.
• Hands‑on experience interacting with the FTA (registrations, filings, queries or audits).
• Strong client‑service and project‑management abilities; able to explain tax positions to non‑technical clients.
• Commitment to pursue dual FTA Tax Agent certification (VAT and Corporate Tax).
