Tax Consultant (6‑month contract)

About the role

Network International is seeking a Tax Consultant on a six‑month fixed‑term basis to ensure full compliance with UAE and international tax regulations. You will work closely with finance and business teams to manage tax filings, audits, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including VAT filings and corporate tax requirements.
• Prepare, review and submit tax returns, reports and supporting documentation within deadlines.
• Lead and coordinate tax audits conducted by regulatory authorities and external auditors.
• Review cross‑border transactions for withholding tax, permanent establishment risks and double‑tax treaty implications.
• Support transfer‑pricing documentation and ensure alignment with OECD guidelines where applicable.
• Conduct tax risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with tax authorities, external consultants, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on their impact to business operations.
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure audit readiness.
• Assist management with tax planning and strategic advisory projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in tax, audit or advisory roles with a focus on international taxation and VAT.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax and international tax frameworks.
• Proven experience handling tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
