Tax Manager – Global Tax Compliance

About the role

The Tax Manager oversees the preparation and timely submission of all global tax filings, ensuring compliance with corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions. They coordinate with local advisors and finance teams to maintain accuracy and adherence to regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preparation, review, and timely submission of global tax filings, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax.
• Coordinate with local tax advisors and finance teams to ensure full compliance across jurisdictions.
• Implement global tax strategies to support international growth and optimise the effective tax rate.
• Lead preparation of global tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 or IFRS and support quarterly and annual tax reporting.
• Maintain and enforce global transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance with local documentation requirements.
• Monitor global tax risks, manage communications with tax authorities, and oversee defence of tax audits and controversies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.
• 5‑8 years of relevant tax experience, preferably with corporate tax accounting and international tax reforms.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or related tax diplomas are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with tax compliance software.
