Tax Manager

About the role

PXGEO, a subsea solutions company, is seeking a Finance Manager – Tax to lead its tax advisory and compliance functions from the Dubai office. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will support bids, projects and commercial activities across multiple jurisdictions while ensuring robust tax governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cross‑border tax advice on permanent establishment risks, treaty applicability, withholding tax, and transfer pricing for bids and projects.
• Lead global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, indirect tax, withholding tax filings, and tax accounting under IFRS (IAS 12).
• Support corporate structuring, acquisitions, and intra‑group financing, maintaining transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File).
• Manage tax audits, disputes, and liaison with external advisers and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional tax qualifications (ADIT, CTA, ACA/CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of international tax experience in a multinational group, major accounting firm or tax authority.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, indirect tax, and cross‑border services/equipment taxation.
• Experience in offshore, marine or energy services is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ONESOURCE or similar tax technology.
• Expertise in transfer pricing implementation and benchmarking.
• Proficiency in tax accounting under IFRS (IAS 12) and effective tax rate analysis.
• Advanced English communication, both written and verbal.
