Tax Manager (Remote, UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead our corporate tax compliance, planning and advisory activities. The role is fully remote within the United Arab Emirates and reports to senior leadership, supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate tax compliance, reporting and filing processes.
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare and review tax calculations, returns and supporting documentation.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities, external advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on transactions.
• Identify tax risks and implement mitigation controls.
• Support tax audits, assessments and regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting and business teams on tax matters.
• Prepare tax reports and analysis for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or related field (preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent (advantageous).
• 5+ years of experience in taxation, tax advisory or corporate tax.
• 2+ years managing tax functions or leading tax projects (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
