Tax & Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Tax & Reporting Analyst is responsible for VAT compliance, corporate tax filing and financial reporting across the GCC region. Working closely with regional finance leaders and the Central Tax Team, the role blends hands‑on tax administration with advisory support.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare indirect and direct tax filings (VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax) for multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain tax compliance documentation and support business with practical tax guidance.
• Assist with statutory filings such as ESR and UBO reporting.
• Support preparation, review and analysis of monthly management accounts and trial balances for Middle East offices.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and contribute to budgeting and re‑forecasting.
• Review reporting dashboards for accuracy and alignment with group standards.
• Collaborate with Central Tax and regional finance teams to ensure policy alignment.
• Support internal and external audits by providing analysis, reconciliations and documentation.

Required profile

• Recognized accounting qualification.
• Strong understanding of GCC VAT principles and practical application.
• Exposure to corporate tax and withholding tax frameworks in the GCC.
• High numerical accuracy and ability to manage competing priorities during month‑end and year‑end.
• Professional services or services‑based environment experience.
• Excellent English communication and discretion with confidential information.
