Tax Services Manager – Data & Digital

About the role

The Tax Services Manager – Data & Digital will lead the digital transformation of Al Futtaim Group’s tax operations. You will own the tax data agenda, drive AI‑enabled automation, and ensure compliance with UAE and regional tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end tax data sets for VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and e‑invoicing, from SAP source to filing‑ready output.
• Design, build and maintain automated data extraction, mapping, transformation, and quality‑check routines.
• Identify, prototype and deploy AI/automation solutions using Python, Power Platform, RPA and related tools.
• Support UAE e‑invoicing program, bridging data gaps and managing testing and cut‑over activities.
• Develop dashboards and analytics to monitor compliance status, filing calendars and process performance.
• Ensure all digital solutions meet IT security, data privacy and change‑management standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field.
• 4‑7 years of experience delivering data, automation or AI solutions in an enterprise or consulting environment.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on development experience and a proven AI or automation solution taken to production.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Python (or equivalent) for data processing and automation.
• JavaScript (or equivalent) for scripting.
• Advanced Excel / Power Query.
• SQL data‑querying skills.
• Experience with AI/ML, generative‑AI models or chatbots.
• Familiarity with RPA tools and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Understanding of SAP data structures and tax concepts.
