Tax Services Manager – Data & Digital

About the role

The Manager of Tax Services – Data & Digital will lead the digital transformation of Al-Futtaim Group's tax operations, focusing on data management, automation and AI‑enabled solutions to improve compliance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end tax data sets for VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and e‑invoicing, building extraction, mapping and transformation routines.
• Design and run automated data quality checks, maintain data lineage and reconcile statutory ledgers with tax filings.
• Identify, prototype and deploy automation and AI use cases using Python, Power Platform, RPA and generative‑AI tools.
• Support UAE e‑invoicing program, analyse gaps, drive remediation and assist with testing and cut‑over activities.
• Build dashboards and analytics on tax compliance, filing calendars and process performance for senior finance stakeholders.
• Ensure all digital solutions meet IT security, data privacy, SAP access and change‑management standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience delivering data, automation or AI solutions in an enterprise or consulting environment, with at least 2 years of hands‑on development.
• Proven track record of taking an AI or automation solution from concept to production.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Python development for data processing and automation.
• JavaScript (or equivalent) programming.
• Advanced Excel and Power Query.
• SQL and data engineering/analysis.
• Experience with AI/ML, generative‑AI, RPA and Power Platform.
