Teacher Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a caring, patient, and organized Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers in delivering effective instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment. The role involves assisting with daily lessons, preparing materials, and providing individual or small‑group support under the teacher’s supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with daily lessons and educational activities.
• Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, classroom displays, and learning resources.
• Provide individual or small‑group support to students as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Support students with routines, assignments, and learning exercises.
• Encourage positive behaviour, participation, teamwork, and respect.
• Supervise students during designated activities and transitions.
• Observe student progress and communicate observations to the teacher.
• Assist with classroom events, educational projects, and school activities.
• Follow school policies, child safeguarding procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; education or childcare certificate is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred.
• Good verbal communication, interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to follow instructions, work effectively with teachers and staff, and support diverse learning needs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency.
• Understanding of classroom safety, child protection, and confidentiality.
• Eligibility to work full‑time in Dubai and meet any required background checks.
