Teacher - EYFS - Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Teacher – EYFS in Abu Dhabi to start immediately. The role involves delivering the English National Curriculum, implementing effective strategies to raise standards, and supporting the progress of all learners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies and practices aligned with the school’s vision and high standards.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate short‑, medium‑ and long‑term departmental development.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create targeted action plans.
• Design and regularly review schemes of work for all year groups, including provisions for SEN/POD, G&T and EAL.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for high‑ability and special‑needs students.
• Set expectations for staff regarding achievement standards, teaching quality and behaviour.
• Evaluate teaching and learning quality, identify best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets and staff performance in line with school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably with the UK curriculum.
• Proven track record of raising standards and closing learning gaps.
• Leadership experience and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
