About the role
Liwa International School for Girls is looking for a female Teaching Assistant to support teachers in classroom and Qur'an learning activities in Al Bateen. The role involves helping students with their learning, supporting their wellbeing and maintaining a respectful learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in classroom and Qur'an learning activities.
- Assist students with reading, memorisation and other learning activities as directed.
- Provide individual and small-group support.
- Assist with classroom preparation and student supervision.
- Promote positive behaviour and a respectful learning environment.
- Support student wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow school procedures.
Required profile
- UAE national.
- Minimum QFE Level 4 certificate for a teacher assistant position.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working with children or in a school environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Strong Qur'an reading and recitation skills.
- Knowledge of basic Tajweed preferred.
