About the role
The Team Leader – Prepress Design will supervise the design team to ensure productivity, process efficiency and high service levels that meet business objectives. This role focuses on creating client‑specification designs, managing workflow, and minimizing waste and errors in the pre‑press stage.
Key responsibilities
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts that meet client specifications.
- Assign duties to design staff to ensure timely completion according to the production schedule.
- Reduce consumable waste and control department operating overheads.
- Minimize digital errors before plate output to limit re‑work.
- Prepare and forward digital files for special operations (spot UV, foil blocks, die lines) to production on time.
- Optimize utilization of digital printers, materials, and staff to improve output and productivity.
