Team Leader (SME) – Treasury, Risk & Compliance

About the role

The role is a Test Lead & Senior Domain SME responsible for the Treasury, Risk & Compliance testing vertical. It combines hands‑on testing with deep functional expertise across Treasury operations, risk analytics and financial‑crime compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute test cases for Treasury systems (Calypso) covering FX, money‑market, derivatives and portfolio rebalancing.
• Validate OFSAA risk engines (market, liquidity, ALM) and regulatory risk‑modelling algorithms.
• Oversee AML/KYC/FATCA screening, transaction monitoring and fraud rules in Clari5.
• Maintain domain awareness of Trade Finance processes (letters of credit, guarantees) and act as backup for related systems.
• Own end‑to‑end test delivery, from requirements analysis to defect triage and test exit, interfacing with business and technology stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8+ years of QA/testing experience in banking, capital markets or financial services.
• 2–3 years in a hands‑on lead or senior SME capacity.
• Strong understanding of Treasury asset classes, Basel/CBUAE risk metrics, AML/fraud workflows and Trade Finance lifecycle.

Required skills

• SQL for database verification and financial ledger reconciliation.
• Proficiency with enterprise test management tools such as OpenText ALM and Jira.
