About the role
The Team Leader, Sports will support sales growth and ensure high operational, commercial and customer service standards across the store. This role oversees daily store activities, after‑sales processes and team performance to meet GMG’s annual sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Support the achievement of store annual sales targets and monitor performance.
- Conduct store operations audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Oversee after‑sales processes, including repairs and returns, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure accurate promotions and pricing.
- Manage inventory movements, stock discrepancies and cash handling in line with loss‑prevention policies.
- Direct the team on SOPs, store appearance, and act as cashier when required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 4‑5 years of relevant retail experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
