Tech Lead (Mobile Banking)

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Lead to head a dedicated mobile banking squad. The role combines hands‑on development with strategic ownership of end‑to‑end delivery of mobile banking solutions, ensuring they meet business goals, architectural standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross‑functional squad of mobile developers, backend engineers, QA, DevOps and business analysts.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle of mobile banking initiatives, from design through release and production support.
• Drive technical design, solution reviews, sprint and release planning, and delivery governance.
• Provide mentorship to React Native, Android and iOS development teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX/UI, API and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality digital banking solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, DevSecOps, security, performance and quality engineering practices.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, production incidents and continuous improvement activities.
• Oversee integration of mobile apps with APIs, micro‑services, authentication platforms and core banking systems.
• Support go‑live activities, incident management and executive reporting.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3‑5 years in a technical or engineering lead role.
• Proven track record delivering mobile banking, internet banking, digital onboarding or payments solutions.
• Strong knowledge of mobile security, compliance and banking regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading squads in financial services or banking environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and Agile/Scrum delivery expertise.

Required skills

• React Native, Android, iOS development.
• API‑first architecture, micro‑services, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, certificate pinning and secure coding.
• Cloud‑native platforms – Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• API gateways – Kong, Azure API Management, Apigee, Layer7.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, SonarQube.
