Tech Project Manager

About the role

Globant is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a technology program for a leading banking institution in the UAE. The role combines hands‑on agile delivery with governance and regulatory compliance, ensuring successful delivery of software and emerging AI solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to-end delivery of technical projects, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate and continuously improve Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Maintain RAID logs, track cross‑team dependencies and drive risk mitigation.
• Serve as the primary liaison between delivery teams and senior banking stakeholders, translating technical progress into business‑focused updates.
• Oversee delivery of AI‑driven and software engineering initiatives, ensuring technical feasibility and realistic timelines.
• Ensure compliance with regional central‑bank regulations, PCI DSS standards and internal security/audit policies.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT and security/penetration testing phases and manage sign‑off processes.
• Prepare executive‑level reporting, including steering‑committee decks, roadmaps and RAG status reports.
• Facilitate change‑management and governance ceremonies to document scope changes and commercial impacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex technology projects in a regulated banking environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and program governance.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior executives and technical teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve delivery blockers and process gaps.
