Technical Account Manager / Agile Project Manager (Part-Time)

About the role

A part-time Technical Account Manager / Agile Project Manager is needed to oversee a one-year web and mobile development project in Dubai. The role manages the client relationship, coordinates Agile project delivery and bridges communication between the client and the technical development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between the client and the development team, building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate client requirements into clear functional and technical requirements, and manage expectations, feedback, approvals, priorities and deliverables.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, risks and proposed solutions clearly to the client.
• Run the project with Agile methods: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives and backlog management.
• Work with developers, UI/UX designers and QA teams; define and prioritise user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria and tasks.
• Monitor sprint progress, timelines, dependencies, risks and blockers, and ensure deliverables match the agreed scope.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, bug fixing, deployment and releases, and maintain documentation, timelines, action items and status reports.
• Understand web and mobile development processes, frontend and backend basics, APIs, databases, CMS platforms, integrations, hosting and deployment, and review technical requirements with the team.

Required profile

• 3-5+ years of experience in account management, technical project management, digital project management or a similar role.
• Proven experience managing web and mobile development projects, and at least 5-6 Agile projects from planning through delivery.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Previous experience with government-sector projects or clients is an important advantage.
• Arabic speaker is a must.
• May be required to travel to Dubai depending on project needs.
