Technical Accounting Manager

About the role

KitchenPark is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to lead its global accounting policy agenda and provide expert IFRS guidance on complex transactions. The role is based in Dubai and works closely with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical accounting agenda, drafting and maintaining global accounting policies, memos and guidance notes.
• Provide technical IFRS advice on M&A, restructurings, new contracts, debt/equity issuances and joint ventures.
• Partner with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A and senior leadership to resolve complex accounting matters.
• Lead projects related to new IFRS implementations, system changes or reporting enhancements.
• Inform business stakeholders of emerging accounting standards, GCC regulations and industry best practices.
• Represent the company in discussions with external auditors and contribute to comment letters or industry forums.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong exposure to IFRS standards (IFRS 9, 15, 16, 3, 10).
• Experience drafting technical accounting memos, policies and position papers.
• Background in Big 4 accounting/advisory (Audit, Accounting Advisory Services or Transaction Accounting) preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, conduct in‑depth technical research and communicate complex issues to non‑finance stakeholders.
