Technical Coordinator – Electrical

About the role

The Technical Coordinator – Electrical will support planning, coordination and execution of electrical engineering activities for power generation, transmission, distribution and industrial power projects. The role serves as a key interface between engineering, project management, procurement, construction and client teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical engineering activities across power projects from design through commissioning.
• Review and monitor electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, load calculations and technical specifications.
• Liaise with engineering consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Track project schedules and support timely resolution of technical issues affecting execution.
• Coordinate procurement activities for electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgears, cables and protection systems.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Facilitate technical discussions, design reviews and project coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5‑10 years of experience in electrical engineering or project coordination within power, energy, utility or EPC sector.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, substations, switchgear, transformers and distribution networks.
• Experience in power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy or industrial power projects.
• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA and local regulations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, EPLAN or equivalent).
• Understanding of testing, commissioning and maintenance practices for electrical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
