Technical Engineer – Swimming Pool & Water Feature

About the role

Gardinia Contracting, the construction arm of Azizi Developments, is looking for a Technical Engineer specialized in swimming pool and water feature systems. The role will support design coordination and provide technical assistance across Dubai‑based residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications and contracts related to pool and water‑feature works.
• Prepare and verify hydraulic calculations, equipment selection and system layouts.
• Produce and review technical submittals, material approvals and shop drawings.
• Select and size pumps, filters, heaters, UV and dosing systems, valves, piping and underwater lighting.
• Prepare electrical load schedules for pool and water‑feature installations.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors and site teams to ensure design intent.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international/UAE standards.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for equipment specifications and procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in swimming pool and water‑feature engineering (design and execution).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, filtration and water‑treatment processes.
• Solid understanding of MEP coordination and automation systems.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings, submittals and shop drawings.
