Technical Office Engineer – Civil & Structural (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Office Engineer specialized in civil and structural engineering to join an EPC Oil & Gas project in Ruwais, UAE. The role supports site‑based activities by managing technical documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit shop drawings, as‑built drawings and technical submittals in line with project requirements.
• Perform quantity take‑off (QTO) and assist in cost estimation, variation orders and material take‑off (MTO) preparation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants and clients to resolve technical issues and design clashes.
• Ensure all civil works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications and IFC drawings.
• Develop method statements, material submittals and maintain proper documentation control.
• Support the planning team with technical inputs and assist in progress reports, RFIs and technical correspondence.
• Evaluate vendor documents and subcontractor submissions for procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects in the UAE, with strong ADNOC project exposure.
• Hands‑on experience in technical office and site‑based civil engineering activities.
• Proven ability to work with AutoCAD, Excel and engineering documentation systems.
