Technical Office Engineer (Structural)

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a Technical Office Engineer specialized in structural engineering to support its EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves reviewing design documents, coordinating technical issues, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, design calculations and engineering documents for construction activities.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, RFIs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Procurement, Planning and Survey teams to resolve structural and technical issues.
• Provide technical support during steel fabrication, concrete works, foundations, grouting and installation.
• Monitor engineering revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings are available on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Technical Office / Structural Engineering within EPC or Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience with ADNOC standards and major construction projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations and relevant codes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to prepare and review technical submittals, RFIs and method statements.
• Knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete design principles.
