Technical Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Technical Operations Manager to lead our refurbishment team. You will work directly on water purification machines, ensuring they are rebuilt to the highest quality standards and ready for customer deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, test, replace components and re‑assemble machines on a daily basis.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults that exceed the technician team’s scope.
• Assess returned units and decide whether to refurbish, harvest parts or scrap them.
• Conduct final quality inspections and sign‑off for every refurbished machine.
• Plan daily and weekly refurbishment activities, allocate technicians and manage workloads.
• Manage suppliers of painting, plastics, spare parts and consumables, ensuring quality and lead‑time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in Zoho Inventory and perform regular stock counts.
• Monitor throughput, cost per unit and productivity, reporting weekly to the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on technical experience in refurbishment, repair, assembly or light manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of experience leading and supervising a small technical team.

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise with appliances, water systems and electrical or mechanical assemblies.
• Proficient in inventory management tools such as Zoho, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
